The Kenneth J. "KJ" Green Health Professions Scholarship recognizes a graduating senior from a public high school in Greene County, Indiana (i.e., Bloomfield, Eastern, Linton-Stockton, Shakamak, White River Valley), who is interested in pursuing an education and career in a health profession. This scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of $1,000.00 as a nonrenewable, one-time gift.
Sydney Furman, William Miller, and Alison Lauderdale
2023-2024 recipients
The Kenneth J. "KJ" Green Health Professions Scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year was awarded to Sydney Furman of Shakamak High School, William Miller of Shakamak High School, and Alison Lauderdale of Bloomfield High School.
Sydney aspires to become a clinical psychologist. She plans on earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology, both from Indiana University in Indianapolis.
William aspires to become a nurse anesthetist. He plans on earning an Associate of Science in Nursing followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from Vincennes University, before applying to graduate programs.
Alison aspires to become a nurse. She plans on earning an Associate of Science in Nursing from Ivy Tech Community College followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vincennes University.
Kenady Hudson
2022-2023 recipient
The Kenneth J. "KJ" Green Health Professions Scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year was awarded to Kenady Hudson of Eastern Greene High School. Kenady aspires to become a pharmacist. She plans on earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a Pre-Pharmacy concentration from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Olyvia Wagner

She plans on earning an Associate of Science in Nursing following by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from Vincennes University.
Jasmyn Snyder

She plans on earning an Associate of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Vincennes University, then transferring to Purdue University to complete her undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees.

She plans on earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine concentration followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, both from Purdue University.

The Kenneth J. "KJ" Green Health Professions Scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year was awarded to Ashtynn Powell of Linton-Stockton High School. Ashtynn aspires to become a biomedical engineer. She plans on earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Southern Indiana with a minor in biology.
Tara Lauderdale & Sidnie Finch

The Kenneth J. "KJ" Green Health Professions Scholarship received no applications from qualified candidates of Bloomfield High School for the 2017-2018 academic year. The financial award was split and dispersed evenly to each recipient from the previous two academic years. The scholarship will henceforth be open to graduating seniors from any public high school in Greene County, Indiana (i.e., Bloomfield, Eastern, Linton-Stockton, Shakamak, White River Valley).
Sidnie Finch
2016-2017 recipient
The Kenneth J. "KJ" Green Health Professions Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year was awarded to Sidnie Finch of Bloomfield High School. Sidnie aspires to become a nurse. She plans on earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana and eventually going on to become a Nurse Practitioner.
